All products are ordered for each patient, so 3 days notice is to ensure your products are ready for your appointment.
Do I need to go to a separate prescribing appointment?
No, Charlotte is an independent prescriber so everything can be done in one appointment.
Are there age restrictions for patients?
Yes, you must be over 18 to have the treatments offered at Aesthetics With Charlotte. This is the UK law.
Can I have treatments if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
No, due to a lack of safety data and a potential risk to the baby.
Can men have these treatments?
Yes! These treatments are increasingly popular with men and are welcome at Aesthetics With Charlotte.
Why does some botox for men cost more?
Botox for men costs more in some areas because men generally have larger, stronger muscles and greater muscle mass, so it takes more product to achieve the desired effect.
Are the products you use safe?
Yes, all the products used are approved for use in the UK and have been subject to rigorous safety testing.
Could any unwanted side effects occur?
Yes, although these are usually rare and temporary and will occur in the first week. If you have any concerns after your treatment you can always contact us to discuss your concerns.
How do you know if it's safe for me to have treatments?
All clients must fill in a medical form and a consent form prior to your appointment. Here you will be asked questions about your medical history and current medication. This information informs us if you are suitable for the treatments. These treatments are safe for most people and it's rare people cannot have them, but in the unlikely event that this occurs, Charlotte will call you prior to your appointment and discuss your options with you. These might include waiting a little while until it's appropriate for you to have the treatment, or a full refund.
Where do you get the products from?
All products are ordered from UK based, regulated pharmacies.
Is there any downtime after each treatment?
This depends on the treatment. Most treatments involve minimal downtime, but there may be mild swelling and bruising for a few days. You’ll be given detailed aftercare instructions after your appointment.
Will it look natural?
Absolutely. Aesthetics With Charlotte aims to enhance your natural beauty and features. Each treatment is tailored to you. Charlotte is guided by your goals and concerns, not trends.
Are there any payment options?
Payments are taken online. A small deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure your appointment, then you have the choice to pay the rest after the appointment or spread the cost over 3 months with a finance option.
Do you need medical qualifications to perform these treatments?
The UK currently does not regulate the aesthetics industry, which puts patients at risk. Charlotte has a strong clinical background and has trained with the Derma Institute, which only trains those with proven medical credentials.
